ACCESSIBILITY
We are committed to making the experience at Strawberry Fields more inclusive.
Strawberry Fields has always been about leaving the trappings of everyday life behind to connect, explore, and celebrate art and music in the wild Australian bush. As guests on beautiful Yorta Yorta country, we believe this natural environment along Dhungala (Murray River) should be a space where everyone feels welcome and supported.
This year, we are investing further in making the festival more inclusive by enhancing exisiting amenities and introducing new accessibility initiatives.
When you join us in the bush this year, you will see several new updates designed to make your journey smoother, more memorable, and fully supported:
Please read our Accessibility FAQs below or feel free to reach out to us directly via email at Accessibility@strawberry-fields.com.au.
-
This year you can share your accessibility needs via your Ballot registration process - this helps the team understand where and what support is needed. The team will contact you if you are successful in securing a ticket to Strawberry with further information about accessibility services and amenities available to you.
If you require your Carer to attend the festival with you, your Carer is eligible to claim a free Carer Ticket by sharing their Carer Card.
Purchase your ticket for Strawberry Fields. Do not purchase a ticket for your Carer.
Contact the team on accessibility@strawberry-fields.com.au with details of your ticket and the details of your Carer and a copy of their Carer Card.
The team will then liaise with you and your carer to issue their ticket and provide further accessibility info.

The Wildlands is a beautiful, natural bushland property. Because Strawberry Fields is an outdoor festival, the terrain is varied. You will encounter hard-packed dirt, sandy areas near the river, natural clearings, and uneven ground with twigs, leaves, and tree roots.
Please note that we do not use trackmat or temporary flooring across the site, meaning the pathways remain completely natural. While we work hard to clear paths and keep main thoroughfares as clear as possible, the natural landscape can be bumpy or dusty, and can become muddy if it rains. If you use a mobility aid, please be prepared for outdoor bush conditions.

The Accessibility Campsite is located close to the SF Bus Stop, Glamping, Medical Tent and main Markets entrance.
Accessible Camping allows you to camp with your car/ campervan. You can provide details of your accessibility needs as part of your Ticket Ballot/ Limited Public Sale process.
The Accessible Campsite features dedicated accessible toilets and accessible hot showers. We also position accessible toilets at key stages throughout the festival.
Those who have expressed a need for accessible camping will be contacted by the team to confirm the number of tents and vehicles in your party pre-festival. -
Yes! As a new initiative this year, we have introduced elevated viewing platforms at key music stages. These platforms are designed as a priority for patrons who use wheelchairs and/or mobility aids to ensure they have an elevated, unobstructed line of sight to the performances. These platforms will be highlighted on Strawberry’s festival app map which will be released closer to the event date.
While the platforms are open to other access patrons to utilise, please keep in mind that space is limited. If a platform reaches capacity, you may be gently asked to move on and make space for someone who requires it.

Strawberry Fields is held on a large festival site with pockets of quieter spaces among the ghost gums and nature where you can take time to relax.
However, this year we have also created a dedicated Low Sensory Space. This is a quiet, calm oasis tucked away from the bustling crowds and music stages. It is a welcoming place to sit down, catch your breath, decompress, and reset whenever you need a moment of peace.
Please note that opening hours for this space will be confirmed closer to the festival date.

Yes! We are excited to offer Auslan interpretation across the following stages; The Grove, The Beach and Murray’s Lounge.
Strawberry Fields festival app will highlight Auslan interpretation sessions once set times have been released.

Strawberry Fields recognises that not all disabilities are visible. We are working closely with our crowd care teams, volunteers, and onsite event staff to ensure they are trained and ready to assist patrons with hidden disabilities.
If you have a hidden disability, you can choose to wear a Sunflower lanyard, wristband, or pin to subtly signal to our team that you might need a little extra time, understanding, or assistance. You can learn more or purchase these items directly ahead of time by heading to Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Australia.

Yes, essential and prescription medication can absolutely be brought into the festival. To ensure a smooth entry through security, you just need to make sure your medication is kept in its original packaging with the dispensary label clearly matching the name on your photo ID (which must also match your festival ticket).
If you have medication that requires cold storage during the weekend, we can arrange for it to be safely kept in the medical tent. Please reach out to us ahead of time at accessibility@strawberry-fields.com.au to organise this.

Yes. Staying hydrated is incredibly important, especially in the outdoor bush environment. Free drinking water stations are located throughout both the campgrounds and festival. We highly encourage everyone to bring their own reusable drink bottles to fill up for free across the weekend, helping us keep our home clean and plastic-free.
Water stations will be marked on printed festival maps in Strawberry Fields festival app. -
Please note that registered assistance and service animals, pets or emotional support animals are NOT permitted to the festival.
-
If you need any assistance during the weekend the Info Tent is the best place to go. Our friendly team is stationed there 24/7 to help you with anything you might need or to help you. Festival volunteers can be easily identified across the festival wearing high vis vests, security wears black and yellow and you can always stop and talk to any crew member carrying a radio if you need support.

We are here to help! To make sure you have the best possible experience, we have brought a dedicated Accessibility Manager onto our team this year. They bring lived experience to the role and are available to help you with any questions or specific requirements for both your pre-festival planning and your onsite experience.
You can reach out directly by emailing Accessibility@strawberry-fields.com.au.
