LOW INCOME TICKET PROGRAM

LOW INCOME TICKETS APPLICATIONS WILL BE OPENING SOON.

We understand that attending camping festivals can be an expensive exercise - tickets, fuel, food, camping equipment - it all adds up and can be particularly challenging if you are a student or on a low income.

We want Strawberry Fields to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income.

 FAQs

  • The program offers heavily discounted Tickets to people who are able to establish through an application process that they have limited resources to afford a standard entry Ticket.

  • Low Income Tickets are $209 + booking fee per ticket. This is a discount of 50% off the cost of a standard entry ticket.

  • This will be assessed on a case by case basis for each application, the more information you provide on your circumstances the better. We will consider such factors as your employment status, whether you are currently studying, whether you are receiving government benefits or concessions, and your weekly income. Tickets will only be allocated to people who provide the correct supporting documentation as detailed in the next section, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

If you submit an incomplete application or supply incorrect documents your application will be considered void. We are oversubscribed every year and we do not have the resources to email applicants individually to request the correct supporting documents. It is your responsibility to ensure that the documentation you provide is correct and as requested in the list below.

Supporting documentation required for ALL applications:

    1. Proof of the last three months of your bank transactions - this can be either a ‘bank statement’ or a ‘transaction statement’ but not screenshots from your phone banking app. The statement needs to be linked to the account that your income is paid into (i.e. salary or centrelink payments). Your name and address must be clearly visible (this is usually on page one of the statement). You can cover up any other personal information such as account number. Statements can usually be located via online banking - please download as a PDF or print and scan/photo. We will not respond to emails with technical questions about how to obtain a bank statement/proof of bank transactions, please contact your bank directly for this information.

    2. A copy of your photo ID (Passport, Drivers Licence or Proof of Age Card).

    3. A copy of your Low Income Health Card (if you have one)

Additional documentation required as applicable, depending on your circumstances:

    • Student Card or a letter from your educational establishment within the last three months confirming your enrollment.

    • A recent Centrelink statement confirming your name, address and payments.

    • Your most recent payslip.

  • Applications will be reviewed and assessed on a first come first serve basis. Applications will close 23 June 2026 (or whenever the maximum allocation of Tickets has been exhausted, whichever is first).

This allows us to offer Low Income Tickets to successful applicants + notify anyone who has not been successful so they can still enter the Ballot if they so choose to.

  • Successful applications will be notified via email as they are assessed, all successful applicants will be notified by 26 June 2026. If you have not received a confirmation by the 26 June, the only way for you to try and secure a Ticket to SF26 will be by registering for the General Ballot.

  • When registering for a Low Income Ticket you will have two choices:
    1. Auto-payments which means you enter your card details and if you are successful the Ticket will automatically be charged to your card - this is the fastest and most hassle free way to get your Ticket.
    2. Notify-me - if your application is successful you will be sent an email and have 24hrs to enter your details and complete the checkout process. After the 24hrs your Ticket may be offered to another applicant.

Please make sure to enter all your personal details correctly so they match your legal ID. Low Income Tickets are not available for resale and can not be transferred or refunded.

Tickets will be allocated on a first in, best dressed basis. Only complete applications containing the correct supporting documentation will be considered for a Ticket.

  • When you arrive at the festival, you will need to supply not only your Low Income Ticket but proof of identification to validate that the Ticket is being used by the true applicant.
